C3 Philly is a new church with a fresh expression in the heart of Philadelphia, discovering what it means to be a Jesus people in the city of brotherly love. With the global coronavirus pandemic interrupting plans we've discovered new ways to be the body of Christ and a people of love by mixing digital and physical experiences. The temple has always been the central gathering place for the people of God, and once a month we will be gathering as a new church in song, around scripture and in fellowship with one another. We currently meet monthly in Norther Liberties with a heart to begin weekend gatherings across the city
We believe the church is a table and every week we meet across Philadelphia to eat, share stories, scripture and prayer and get to know one another. We have a dream to start a dinner party in every neighborhood of the city so all may find their place in the home God is preparing.
We believe the digital age is here to stay and provides endless opportunities not only to build community but also to reach those in our city that don’t yet know Jesus. We're distributing content and creating conversations in digital spaces to empower us as disciples of Jesus.
